We are so enjoying it here that we decided to stay an extra day - it also gave Gavin extra time to consult with his tailor re his happy pants (left) . We still have to recover from our Mozambique travels.
Took another boat trip up the lake to the Lake Malawi National Park, (Flamingo with his boat the "Warm Heart of Africa" ) which is a world heritage site.
Amazing clear water, still, warm and very peaceful.
Met up with two lads from Gauteng at the campsite who had also taken the long route around to get to Fat Monkeys from Mocambique. Unfortunately they had a puncture and then realised that the wheel spanner they had was wrong. Needless to say we all double checked that ours were correct.
Fully recharged now and ready for our days drive tomorrow up to the Northern part of the lake
